You can choose either of these for exercising healthily (you can even choose both of them).

Making small changes to the food you eat. When people go on crash diets they normally reduce one source of food, this is really unnecessary because the body hates going through immediate change. By dropping all those fatty foods, your body will start craving for them and most people give in to the craving which ruins their diets. If you make small changes to what you eat you have a better chance of losing weight, for example instead of using the full milk in your cereal, change to semi-skimmed. See how easy that change will be? How much weight will you lose with that? Not a huge amount, but it's a start. Do it with other foods and see the weight you start losing.
